Is iCloud Simple to Set Up?

That is a common question I get lately now that Apple is doing away with their short-lived MobileMe cloud platform on June 30.  The short answer is, yes, but you may need to take care of some software updating on your Apple computers and devices first.  iCloud requires the latest operating system (Lion) installed on the computers and iOS 5 on the mobile devices.  So if your iMac, MacBook Pro, or Air is still running Snow Leopard or earlier, you will need to upgrade your software before you can start using iCloud, and if you have never updated that iPhone or iPad since you bought it chances are you need to install the latest updates from Apple.  A frequent issue for people already using iCloud is duplicate calendar entries and contacts. We can certainly help you with any and all of this, so give us a call to set up an appointment and we’ll get you syncing and backing up with iCloud across all of  your computers and mobile devices.
